Eve, wife od Adam, as in the “Adam & Eve” story was not always “Evee”. Her original name was “Chaiyah” or “Haiyah”, a name associated with the word “Chai” or “Hai”. The “guttural” pronunciation shifts the Chai sound into something closer to “hai. We recognise the name in the Chinese term Ch’i, or Q’i for energy, or life force. The plural form of Chai is Chai’im, as in Etz Ha Chai’im or “The Tree of Life”

She had become the Mother of Mortality, something that was going to effect all life, including life that existed before she did.
