Avalon
The Hebrew word “Elyon” means “Highest”. It is used with the Name “EL” (for God) to mean “God in the Highest”. It has a sense of “The Highest God”, or “The God Above All”, or “The Supreme God”.
Joseph of Arimathea’s “Camelot Christions” used the word/title/hnour “Elyon” with the Hebrew word “Av”, meaning Father. Jesus used the Aramaic term “Abba” in the Garden of Gethsemane. The “Hebrew equivalent” would sound like “AB” but for the “soft” pronunciation of the letter “Beit” in the word for Father.
(Beit or Bet, is one of seven Hebrew letters that take either a HARD or a SOFT pronunciatopn, These seven letters correspond with the Seven Lights on the Temple menorah, with the Seven Deacons in Christianity, with the Seven Charkras, and with the Seven objects in the sky which are visible to the human eyes AND change position. These are the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. They change positions. The Seven “Souble Letters” change pronunciation. What would have been “Ab” turns into “Av”).
JOSEPH OF ARIMATHEA’S VERSION OF CHRISTIANITY WAS “ADVANCED”. These “Caelot Christians” studied, and understood, their scriptures on a deeper level than modern churches. They were in many cases, distant relatives, close relatives and/or long term inner circle students and disciples of Jesus.
Elyon – Hebrew for “Highest”
(as in God, or “Most High”
The word DISCIPLE does NOT mean “a convert”. The English term means (and yes the churches DO IGNORE this!), “Disciplined Student”. Learning and Knowledge were meant to be a big part of their Christianity. The Greek word for Disciple is based on the word/stem “MATH” (as in Matthew & MATHEMATICS.
Mathematics is a subjject that many people struggle with. Modern publishers tell authors in the USA, that for every equation they put in a book, the sales will drop by 50,000. Maybe that is $50,000 rather than that many books, but either way, the implication and the experience of book publishers, is that mathematics and equations are bad for business. People tend to avoid the mathematics!
Maybe that was the case in Britain almost 2,000 years ago. The Camelot Christians studied their scriptures in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. Gematria and numbers were part of that study. Maybe it was the mathematics that was a barrier. Or maybe it was the advanced spiritual concepts that Jesus had taught were “a notch or two” above the level of knowledge in the Glastonbury area. Glastonbury had been a strong spiritual centre/community for centuries (at least) before Joseph of Arimathea’s Christian refugees settled there. But Jesus’ teaching WAS new, higher than anything humanity had known before. That was why God had sent Jesus !
The “locals” around the Glastonbury area held the Camelot Chistians in great esteem. But the “locals” did not always understand the oncepts, or the “terminology” that the Camelot Christians used. Spiritual concepts tended to get “converted” into place names or into the names of people.
Avalon was one of the terms that became a “place name” in the minds, and “legends” held in Britain re The Camelot community.
Avalon is part of the “Grail Legends”. The reality of what is behind those “legends” is even better than the legends. The reality is different from the “myths”. But the reality is way better than the myths. The reality is Christian (advanced!), and magical. Jesus and what He achived is the centre of the Magic.
JFK’s Presidency was called Camelot, partly because his “kingdom” was doomed. But there were genuine connections between the original Camelot and Ireland, with JFK, and with the Southern Hemisphere, Australia in particular, and with the Caribbean where Atlantis once was. Jesus was not defeated. He IS coming back. So is Camelot.
The Grail
IThe Holy Grail and immortality are part of the Camelot and King Arthur legends.
But a physical cup or chalice sounds way too simple, more like the myth or legend version of the story. The immortality is connected with the advanced Christianity, rather than just a “Chalice”. But the Christian Communion Service is part of it. So was the Jewish morning prayer service. That service, combined with the Communion Service is the real origin of The Mass. The Mass began in Jerusalem, not in Rome. It is not a “Vatican product”. But the Catholic Church did “tweak it”, and convert it into a new Latin “liturgy”. The Church was, in a sense, “competing with” Camelot.
St Patrick Converts Ireland – “from Camelot to Shamrock”
The vatican, set up and instituted by Emperor Constantine, “competed” by taking over, and claiming the credit for, something that Camelot had already brought to Britain. From Glastonbury it was already spreading across Britain and into Europe. Going “the other way”, the monastic culture that was part of Camelot spead north towards Scotland on islands between Britain and Ireland. From there, The Mass and Christianity went west into Ireland.
Ireland has remained stubbornly loyal to The Mass ever since. Unaware that it was Rome and The Vatican who funded the Anglo-Saxon invasions and conquest of Britain, Ireland has given the same, probably greater, loyalty to Rome, The Vatican and to The Catholic Church, that it should have given to God.
The monastic culture that existed on the islands between Britain and Ireland, was not that much of a change from Glastonbury. At high tide, the water, turned Avalon into Avalon Island. When the weather was calm, the sea around the island looked like glass. Hence the name: Glass-tonbury became Glastonbury.
St Patrick was a product of the Glastonbury-Camelot monastic tradition which spread north from Glastonbury. It produced monasteries on islands off the west coast of Britain. The isolation gave the monks the environment in which they could pray and study. From those monasteries, “missionaries” spread their knowledge westwards into Ireland, and Eastward and Northward into the rest of Britain.
When St. Patrick converted Ireland, he took the knowledge of how important the Communion Service and its associated (Jewish) prayer service was. The Catholic Mass grew out of that combination. Ireland and Irish Catholicism have remained loyal to that tradition for almost two millenia. Persecution never broke that loyalty. It was clerical sadism and paedophilia that smashed the devotion to what Jesus had instituted, and to wat Jesus’ uncle had taken to Glastonbury.
THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH LOYALTY TO JESUS’ TEACHING. THE FAULT WAS BLIND LOYALTY TO A RELIGION THAT CLAIMED TO REPRESENT GOD ON EARTH. IRELAND BECAME MORE LOYAL TO THE VATICAN THAN IT WAS TO GOD.
The price for that idolatory, what it really has been, has been terrible.
The Grail Cup
Camelot was “about” Immortality. It was also “about” a lot of advanced Christian and Biblical Knowledge. But Immortality was part of “the package”.
But, people who did not, or could not, understand the concepts, struggled to comprehend the terminology. Ideas like “Unity Consciousness”, or the “Opening into the Unity of God” did not make sense to those who were unfamiliar with what Joseph of Arimathea’s “Camelot Christians” believed, understood, taught and practised.
The “locals” knew and saw that at least “long life” was part of the Camelot community. Just as the “Gal Ehad”, the “opening into Unity” became a “mythical knight” (Sir Galahad), so the immortality had to be “watered down” into something that could be “explained” or maybe “explained away”.
The Communion Service was a huge part of the Camelot legends. It is King Arthur and his Knights around The Round Table.
Combining the Communion Service with Immortality, people came up with The Grail Cup as the secret to Immortality.
Study Jesus’ words. He DID teach about Immortality, not just after the Resurrection from the Dead, but as possible, for SOME, even now.
IMMORTALITY WAS KNOWN IN JUDAISM. IT HAD OCCURRED EVEN BEFORE JESUS’ TIME. It is the key to explaining the component numbers in the “Torah Letter Counts”, i.e he 10 Primordial Letters, and the 17 Hebrew Letters that are formed from combinations of those 10 Original Letters.
THE 27 HEBREW LETTERS ARE THE 10 ORIGINAL LETTERS AND THE 17 COMPOSITE LETTERS. This is “structured into” the Hebrew Letters, the Torah and the Census count at Mt. Sinai. Jesus was not introducing something new. He was just expanding on it, and making it more accessible.
BUT THEN, AS NOW, SOME PEOPLE COULD NOT COMPREHEND HIS TEACHING.
THE CAMELOT CHISTIANS TAUGHT AND PRACTISED WHAT JESUS TAUGHT. BUT “THE LOCALS” DID NOT UNDERSTAND. SO THEY “WATERED THE STORY DOWN”. THE IMMORTALITY HAD TO BE COMING FROM SOME MAGIC CUP.
It had to be secret magic or a hidden chalice. It could not be study and spiritual knowledge.
So we got the legends, legends about The Grail Cup or Chalice.
The Grail is NOT a Chalice. But is IS connected with Jesus and the Communion Service which he inaugurated
