“Glass Town”: The Sea of Glass & Glastonbury?

The Book of Revelation & A “Sea Of Glass”

The Book of Revelation talks about ” a sea of glass, mingled with fire” in Chapter 15. Those who stand on the sea, are those who have victory over one of the Beasts of Revelation and his umage and over his name, and over the number of his name. All very “dramatic stuff”, describing the last 7 plagues of God in which the “wrath of God” is completed.

Looking at what is going on in the world now, it is understandable why the “wrath of God” is going to be “poured out” at some stage, and possibly SOON.

The full chapter (part of which is shown above), talks about Seven Angels, with seven Golden Bowls, and the Power and Glory of God, of the “Song of Moses, the servant of God”, and the “Song of The Lamb”.

The “conventional legend” as to how Glastonbury got its name, is that the area was flat, and that on a calm day, the ocean/sea nearby, looked like “a sea of glass”. Hence the name “Glass Town” which eventually became Glass-Town Burgh” or Glastonbury”. A more “Biblical explanation” is that Joseph of Arimathea’s Christians brought the Book of Revelation with them, when they settled in the area.

They brought the knowledge of The 72 Triplets (The 72 Gamelot) with them. They brought the name “Camelot” (originally GAMELOT) to the area. John, son of Zebedee, came to Glastonbury, after (not necesarily immediately after) his exile on Patmos. His “adopted mother”, Maria (Mariam, Miriam, “Mary” in English), came with him.

GlastonBury Tor — Where “Avalon Island” Once “Was”

GLASTONBURY TOR, WHERE THE RUINS OF ST. MICHAEL’S ARE, IS NOW IN THE “CBD” OF GLASTONBURY. TWO THOUSAND YEARS AGO, THE AREA AROUND THE TOR, WAS ALMOST AN ISLAND AT “HIGH TIDE”. IT WAS “AVALON ISLAND”.
