Because He started the Book with “In the Beginning” …..

(Actually, the word “the” in “In the Beginning” is an addition by the translators — it is NOT there in the original text. The translators have substantially narrowed the interpretation of the original verse to what they think “best suits” the English version (and the translators’ “Theology”).
Underneath the humour of Dave Allen’s “gag” about the redundancy and obviousness of God saying that things began “in the beginning”, there gag DOES point straight at how “incomplete” the information is. For those willing to probe deeper, and to do some research and thinking, there is way more to the firt word of the Bible, than just “In Beginning” or “in the beginning”.
