This Adulterous and Sinful Generation
Jesus describes “this generation” as adulterous and sinful. He was talking about the generation of the descendants of Eve, the generation which would not pass away, until the end of this age. Jesus was spelling it out: Eve was an adulteroess, who cheated on her husband. This is why an Adulteress was brought before Jesus in the Temple grounds in the lead-up to His death. He took the husion of The Serpent (363) and Chaiyah (23) into the grave with Him. He came out of the tomb as the First Born of the Next Generation.
