Protection: The Menorah Psalm (Psalm 67)

Psalm 67 reproduces the words that were engraved on King David’s shield. They helped keep him safe through decades of battles.

The Letters/Words of Psalm 67 “Form” a Menorah (Lamp Stand) plus the “flames”

The Seven Branches correspond with the 7 Words of Genesis 1:1, with the 7 Double Letters in the Hebrew Alphabet, with the 7 “Charkras” in Indian and Asian traditions, with the “7” that is built into Eve;s name (19 = 7 + 12), with the “Seven Directions” (South, North, East, Above, Below, West, and Centre), and with the 7 that is structured into Jesus’ Hebrew Name, related to Eve’s name. Jesus “reversed” the effect of Humanity’s “Fall”, so the link with Eve is no surprise.

Verses as Branches

Some English translations treat Psalm 67 as an “8 Verse” Psalm. Others show 7 Verses with a line of “Musical Instructions/Descriptions” above.
In the “graphic” which reproduces what was written on King David’s shield, the “Notes/Instructions” form the flames on the 7 branches of the Menorah. The Seven Verses of the Psalm (i.e. the Hebrew Letters in those 7 Verses) form the Seven Branches of the Menorah. The “Base” of the Menorah is part of the 4th Verse.

English Version of Psalm 67:

For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments. A Psalm. A Song.

  1. May God be gracious to us and bless us,

and cause His face to shine upon us, Selah

2. That Your ways may be known on earth,

Your salvation among all nations.

3. Let the peoples praise You, O God;

let all the peoples praise You.

4. Let the nations be glad and sing for joy,

for You judge the peoples justly

and lead the nations of the earth. Selah

5. Let the peoples praise You, O God;

let all the peoples praise You.

6. The earth has yielded its harvest;

God, our God, blesses us.

7. God blesses us,

that all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.
