Elohim and Eloh are plural and singular forms of the same Hebrew Name for God.
Eloh, Aloh and Allah are basically the same Name in an Aramaic or Arabic accent. Plenty of heavily fundamentalist Christians want to claim that Allah is not God. But THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT> Allah is the same BIBLICAL Name of God, pronounced with an Arabic accent or inflexion.
Aramaic scriptures written (translated from the Bible) in the centuries before Jesus was born, called God “IA” or “EEO” (or EE-OR in soe accents) In the New Testament era, the Aramaic Name for God was ALOHA.
We have more in common than churches with a political agenda have wanted us to know . . . .
Aroha and Aloha
Swapping between Hawaiian and Te Reo (NZ Maori( is often a matter of just swapping an “r” for an “l”. One example is ALOHA (Hawaiian) becoming AROHA (NZ Maori). The NZ meaning is LOVE. The original Hawaiian word/Name meant God. The true meaning is something that the missionaries either did not know, or they deliberately hid from the Hawaiians.
The message in those Names is that GOD IS LOVE.
It is NOT Love to deliberately insult and belittle someone else’s religion by telling them that they worship the wrong god. That is a way to trigger hate and confrontation rather than dialogue. Jesus’ instruction was to “make disciples” (rather than making converts). “Disciples” means “disciplined students”.
Disciplined students share and exchange knowledge. They do not seek out others so as to insult them and their beliefs. Abraham studied in Shem’s school for at least 50 years. He grew up there. It was “home” for him. Paul Saul of Tarsus) was a highly trained, highly educated Pharisee before he was converted on his trip to Damascus. And then he went off for years more time “with the Lord” before he began his ministry. His return to Jerusalem after his conversion, apparently did not happen until after he had spent three years in Arabia.
Galatians 1:17:
nor did I go up to Jerusalem to the apostles who came before me, but I went into Arabia and later returned to Damascus
Paul wrote about Mt Sinai being in Arabia. He knew the truth, that the real Mt Sinai is NOT in the Sinai Peninsula. It is in Arabia, close to where King Solomon had a monument erected to celebrate the crossing of the Sea. Maybe Paul visited the site of the crossing, and Mt Sinai while he was in Arabia. It would make sense if he chose to do so.
