Abraham (and Keturah, who is Hagar), sent one of their grandsons, Asher and his family, to India. There they taught “spiritual” (and other) knowledge. This is NOT the same Asher who was/is one of te 12 Patriarchal Tribes of Israel, i.e. the 12 sons of Jacob. Those 12 ribal ancestors are descendants of Abraham and his first wife, Sarah.
Abraham remarried Hagar after Sarah’s death. Her alternative name, Keturah was derived from the business she had developed during her years separated from Abraham. She was a successful trader, importing, exporting and (obviously) marketing, spices. She is the original “spice girl”. Her story is one of the greatest love stories in history. God gave her back all the years she had been separated from Abraham. She had six more sons with him.
Those seven sons, obviously and naturally,divide into Ishmael and the SIX later ones. That “six plus one” split is reflective of the Seven Charkras, six of which are closely linked to the 51 petals and 51 letters of the Devanagari Alphabet.
Asher’s family were known by their Hebrew plural “name”, i.e. as the “ASHERIM”.
In modern India, people still go to the ASHRAM for spiritual teaching.
