Aotearoa (NZ) Tukutuku Weaving, Egypt and Genesis

There are many possible translations of the first word of the Bible. The expression “In the beginning” is only one possible translation out of many.

Another possibe translation, is:

“With a Woven Web . . . . “

Polynesian peoples came from the Middle East. There are many links in their languages, traditions and spirituality to ancient Egypt and Hebrew traditions, as well as some indications of links with ancient Babylon, and Greek culture/names.

“Polynesian” connections, including the Aramaic, Hebrew, and ancient Egyptian languages, with the Pacific region, go back to the time (at least) of Solomon’s ships. Solomon’s ships sailed both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. Solomon’s Gold, or at least some of it, came from central and South America. This is why Polynesian place names such as TUNAPUNA in the Caribbean (on the island of Trinidad) are so similar to the Polynesian place names in the Pacific region, e.g. TAKAPUNA in Auckland, NZ.

After Solomon’s era, the links between the Middle East and the Pacific region “quietened down” for a while. But Alexander The Great’s conquest of Egypt led to the re-opening of the old trade routes between Egypt and The Pacific. (Long story, but it is well “documented” in oral history in the Pacific. That oral history includes Maui, an Egyptian sea captain, who was the equivalent of an Egyptian version of Captain James Cook. Maui had the old maps from Solomon’s days. So he could find islands in the middle of a vast ocean. To his crews, he was like a god, someone who could “dredge up” an island in the middle of an ocean. Thus was his legend born.

Earlier oral histories from Solomon’s days record the visit of the Queen of Sheba to the South Pacific.

Jesus was correct. She was at “the ends of the Earth” when she heard about Solomon from the sailors and colonists Solomon had sent into the region.

Jesus WAS NOT a “dunce at geography” who thought Ethiopia was the “ends of the Earth”. Sorry folks, the Son of God, the Word of God incarnate, did NOT BELIEVE that the Earth was flat!)

New Zealand’s “Maori Name” is Aotearoa. The NZ Maori are a Polynesian people, related to other Polynesians in the Pacific region, e.g. Samoans, Tongans, Tahitians and Hawaiians.

“Traditional Maori Weaving” panels, are used as decoration. Two panels are reproduced on this page. The panels and the style.method of weaving, are known as Tukutuku.

Now look at the geometric patterns of Triangles built into the first verse of the Bible (in its original form, i.e. in Hebrew, as dicated, letter by letter, to Moses. The resemblance is obvious:
